Mycorrhiza-improved P acquisition of host plants: A mini-review
نویسندگان
چکیده
As a beneficial endophytic fungus, arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) are widely distributed in nature and can symbiotically grow with approx. 80% of terrestrial plants, helping host plants to develop increased tolerance various stresses. One the most important functions AMF is promote uptake P from soil by plant. The available findings explain role fungi. For example, increase phosphorus area plant roots improving root architecture, extraradical mycelium extend beyond phosphorus-deprived areas that inaccessible root, expand new sources. also secretion phosphatases organic acids improve environment for accelerating conversion insoluble phosphorus. transporter protein genes expression induced enhance acquisition. review briefly outlines these potential mechanisms suggests outlooks future research.

متن کاملAnti-Mycobacterium Tuberculosis Effects of Folk Medicinal Plants in Iran: A Mini-Systematic Review
The emergence of drug resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis is a major challenge in tuberculosis treatment and control. In addition, multidrug resistance (MDR) and, more broadly, extensive drug resistance (XDR) have hampered treatment with common antibiotics. Thus, an herbal medicine containing antimicrobial capability can be a good alternative to antituberculosis drugs. In this study, we re...
متن کاملApplication of Mycorrhiza and Soil from a Permaculture System Improved Phosphorus Acquisition in Naranjilla
Naranjilla (Solanum quitoense) is a perennial shrub plant mainly cultivated in Ecuador, Colombia, and Central America where it represents an important cash crop. Current cultivation practices not only cause deforestation and large-scale soil degradation but also make plants highly susceptible to pests and diseases. The use of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) can offer a possibility to overcom...
